| Photojournalism |
Emma Rose Photography seeks to sense, discover and document existing moments rather than interfering with or influencing the participants. Photojournalism means reacting to rather than producing memories, photographing the event and not just the participants. As a result, the photographs are genuine, authentic, spontaneous and natural, and your collection of photographs will tell the actual story of your wedding. Of course, Emma will take as many posed photographs as you like. Stiffly arranged shots are avoided, however, and true emotions are sought, giving to the photographs a sense of emotion, excitement, and a true feeling of what the day was like.
Photojournalistic coverage allows you more time to enjoy your wedding day and interact with your guests and each other.

Black & White
Photography |
The timeless quality of Black & White photography makes it a priority rather than an addition or special effect. Black & White getting-ready and reception shots can eliminate background clutter and create a beautiful stillness amidst much commotion.

The number of proofs you will get is not specified because Emma is not worried about the number of photos she's shooting. Emma takes lots of photographs and edits them after the wedding, rather than shooting according to a strict checklist. You can generally expect to receive at least 600 proofs. Emma will shoot not only your wedding ceremony and group photos, but also the anticipation, preparation, toasts, dancing, details and fun. The first dance and cake cutting are important moments to capture, but so is your favourite uncle raising his champagne glass, the row of glowing candles on the head table, and the chocolate hearts drizzled on the desert plates.
Emma's attention to detail means you will get more than just the standard shots.
